Secondly, I love coffee. You know that. I don't have enough money to go to Starbucks everyday like I wish I could. So, I got a coupon for a free iced coffee at McDonalds. The irony - I hate McDonalds. Hate the greasy nastiness. But, I have a free coupon, so I will try the coffee. I got the coffee flavored iced coffee. 
Yeah, it's delicious. And even if I had to pay for it, it would have been $2.04. Which is cheaper than my $3.95 fave at Sbux. So...if I had 2 a week, that is saving...$3.82 a week. $15.28 a month. $183.86 a year. What a deal.
The only downside...I can't go to MC'Ds with my kids, cause then they will want some of the nastiness. Bummer. What's a girl to do?

Yay for coffee! I should try McDonalds. Maybe they'll remember. I'm about ready to give up on Ground-hog-day-selective-amnesia girl at Starbucks.
I have now been drinking the McDonalds coffee for about 3 months and LOVE it. I just get a plain coffee in the morning and it is half the price of what I used to drink at Starbucks....and in fact my McDonalds crew has a much more sincere friendliness to them.
I heard they were coming out with a product line to compete with Starbucks. Heidi, maybe you should show up at McDonalds with a portfolio in hand and introduce yourself to them. Tell them to study it and test them on it. If they remember your name, they'll have a new loyal customer! (Or they'll just call the cops.)
How does the iced flavored compare to a frappucino? I'm intrigued. :)
okay...laurel's comment is hilarious. heidi...mcd's is totally the new starbux. they may remember your name, but it will probably be pronounced slightly differently than the people at starbucks since the man taking my order was new to the english language.
Bunch - it is different than a frap....but the same as starbux iced drinks. but much BIGGER. downside - no decaf for my pregnant friends. i learned that from my sis who also is watching the caffeine intake (not because she's preggers....before anyone asks....just nursing.)
heidi - let me know how delivering the portfolio goes.
that's totally fine as long as they don't call me ma'am in a different language. hearing it in english is bad enough.
i've made an appointment to see the manager at mcd's to go over the do's and don'ts of selling me coffee drinks. i will advise the blogosphere of my progress as it develops.
Love the iced coffee at McDs as well. I get the sugar free vanilla and agree that it tastes so much better when you're still under 2 bucks for it.
i'm hesitant to admit to this since i already disclosed that i've never seen LOST...
BUT...
i don't like coffee AT ALL and i'm not a fan of sushi. (I'm not even sure I just spelled that right).
