I had such a fun time. Thanks to everyone who came. Some of the dishes included:
Hash Brown Casserole
Noodle/Sausage Casserole
Potato Casserole
(Are you sensing a theme?)
Green Beans
Jello Dishes
Fruit Salad
Bread
Spinach/Artichoke Dip
Better Than Sex Dessert
Banana Pudding
Rice Krispie Treats
And the list goes on....
Many experienced a potluck for the first time. We threw them in the fire by singing the Doxology before we ate. Oh yeah. It was priceless. Looking forward to the next gathering.

love the pictures. and i've taken on a whole new stalker status when i was looking at them saying, oh, there is India and Hope and the guy from Lost... sad when I know the peeps just from the blogs! Looks like a blast but I must ask... what was the better than sex dessert and what the heck was the dish with the raisins on top?
Thank you for being such a wonderful host....it started the week off with that good feeling of knowing we are blessed with such an amazing group of people around us (and not to mention the bloated, ate too much feeling). :)
Food highlight of the night, your homemade rolls. I don't know if I am allowed to ask for the recipe, being a family thing, but I would love it if possible.
I'm so sad I missed the "good time that was had by all" at the potluck. The next one is at my house...that way I have to come!!!
The whole weekend was retro...from the 80's fest at church to the potluck.
Seriously, the Doxology was the bomb. The look on Brandon's face was hilarious--he had never heard it before. Kristi tearing up was priceless.
Yes, we must do it again. And ditto on the awesomeness of Kristi's homemade rolls. The first time I had them I felt like I was in carb heaven!
Now I'm really mad!!!! I don't EVER remember getting homemade rolls at a church potluck. Can't wait to try one Kristi
!
Sounds like fun. Looks like fun. I'm sure it was fun! I agree with Diane--that raisin jell-o is funky!
It was truly an awesome evening. Can't wait to do it again!
OH my gosh how fun! And may I request that if your daughters don't marry that little blonde Jack, can my daughter line up? He is stinkin' adorable!
Jen - I can rent him out to you if you're interested. :) My husband keeps telling him that it's time he started pulling his weight; this could be his way of contributing! He's great at parties - loves tractors, I can make him a sign that says "will be be cute for cupcakes"...
This was so much fun! I have told so many people about how great it was. Funny enough it made me think of my Grandma a lot. Knowing that she went to pot lucks all the time back in the day!
