Last week we went to Solvang, a little Danish Community that is North of us and close to Santa Barbara. We had a good time, and Curtis especially enjoyed all of the familiar sites from the movie, SIDEWAYS.
Lexi had cabin fever on the way up to Solvang...it was a nearly 4 hour trip.
This was one of the restaurants from SIDEWAYS. We ate there as soon as we arrived in town. It was a very western restaurant (Curtis' parents would LOVE it! ) The food was served family style and we all loved it.
I love the sweet Danish Architecture throughout town. 
Haley was intent on getting her foot in the clog. 
PILLOWFIGHTS! 
Of course we couldn't leave Little Denmark without having Danishes.

YUM! That place looks like such fun. (Clog pic was my fave.) I'm glad you guys were able to have a little family vacay...even if only a few hours away and for a few days!
