So overwhelmed...

I am laying in bed listening to 'Great is Thy Faithfulness' and I got an email from my Father in Law. He sent me this picture of a prayer card that people signed in India today...people that prayed for our kids. In an earlier conversation, he told me that David Lall of India mentioned that over 500 people were praying for Haley and Lexi. People that I have never met, and most of whom I will never know in this lifetime. Yet, they prayed for our family. I am overwhelmed. And as the tears are flowing, I can only sing along...

Great is Thy Faithfulness
Oh God my Father
There is no shadow of turning with thee.
All I have needed thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy Faithfulness
Lord unto Thee.

Thanks a LOT, I'm out the door to work and now my make up is completely smeared with tears. That is...beyond words.

Okay...you got me! I'm all teary eyed at 7 am in the morning. What a ride this has all been, and I'm just on the periphery. It's always good to know that God's got your back, eh? Now I need to go hide in the bathroom and clean off my face.

Kristi! Your blog entries need to come with a warning label; something like "Side effects will occur from reading this blog entry; the most common ones being: puffy eyes, inability to speak through choking sobs and uncontrollable urges to stop what you're doing and go hug your children..."

But in all seriousness...Your experience has refreshed the presence of God in my life. I am truly overwhelmed...

Hey,

You don't know me, but I'm an old friend of Jen's, and I keep up with her blog. I followed the link she posted in a blog, and just wanted to let you know we were praying for your kids. You got a whole network behind you! We have girls close in age, so your entries hit particularly close to home.:) Hope our reading your blog doesn't weird you out!:)

Love,

Rory

Kristi- I am a friend of Celeste, in Texas. I had to read your blog after I saw your " People Magazine Review" comment. I know that you were my kind of girl when I read that. (see her blog for my response). I was so sad to read about the struggles with your daughters being sick. I am so happy that they have both recovered. I love how Haley knew that "God never, ever, ever forgot her". What an awesome testament to our great God to such a small child. I know I dont know you, but I can tell from reading your entries that you are a wonderful Mom!!
